Where are you from?
China, I am Chinese.
How and when did you get scouted?
I took part in a model competition in 2015 whilst I was in college and was discovered by a European agency.
Do you have a skincare routine?
In the morning I use Shiseido Eudermine and Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate then KIEHL’S Creamy Eye Treatment. In the evening I like to use Avène Thermale Spring Water and then use a Jaujun Multi-Vita Tone Up Mask on my face.
What skincare product could you not live without and why?
My masks, they keep my skin so fresh. I don’t know what I would do without them!
What is the best skincare tip you have ever been given?
Wash your face with very warm water to open pores and then finish with really cold water! It might feel weird but it’s so good. Then pat your face (not rub) until it’s dry.
Do you have a hair care regimen?
After I wash my hair, I’ll apply Moroccan hair oil and then any heat protection product that I have at home before I blow dry, that’s it.
What is your favourite day time beauty look?
I keep it very simple when it comes to make-up as I’m not a huge fan. I only use my moisturising cream from Curel and Shiseido Anessa sunblock.
What is your favourite make-up look for a night out?
I’m not much of a night owl, I’m much happier at home with friends. If I do go out, I’ll use a red lipstick when I’m in a fun mood! I like Mac Cosmetics Chilli. I always apply a lip balm first if if I’m wearing lipstick.
Do you follow any beauty or hair trends?
No – create your own trends!
What are your favourite products to pack when travelling?
I travel so much for work and it’s hard to keep on top of it all. I always make sure I bring all my own skin care and hair oil, as it can be hard to find them outside the UK or China.
How do you unwind after work?
Sleep, sleep and more sleep!
What do you enjoy dong in your spare time?
I love to play volleyball, it’s so much fun.
How would you describe your personal style?
Simple and comfortable, I get to dress up in the fun clothes for work!
How would your friends describe you?
I don’t really know, too scared to ask!
If you weren’t modelling what would you be doing instead?
I would probably have gone to USA to study business.
What music are you listening to at the moment?
Ballads and K-Pop.
What is the last song you had on repeat?
Glass Bridge by Savina & Drones.
What is your all time favourite book?
The Little Prince.
What makes you happy?
When I’m with my family.
When do you feel most beautiful?
In the mornings, when I get ready for the day.
Tell us something that no one would ever guess about you?
I am a total foodie. I find the Chinese food here in London is not very authentic but I do like restaurants like Jinli and Baiwei in Chinatown, Assa in Soho.
What is your favourite place?
Home is where the heart is.
What is your definition of beauty?
Beauty is when you embrace who you really are and when you’re really confident about yourself.
